In Loving Memory — Grief
Example gallery — for illustrative purposes only

Forever waving us home.

Held in the light that never leaves.

Sleeping softly, still our quiet companion.

Surrounded by the ones who loved him most.

The way the light always found her.

Steady. Watchful. Ours.

The weight of his paw, still remembered.

A seat kept for him, always.
Grief Journal — 7 Tender Prompts
Each prompt is an invitation, not an assignment. Read it slowly. Let it settle. When you’re ready, write — by hand in a notebook, or here in your private letter space below.
Day 1
Describe the last ordinary moment you shared — a meal, a walk, a glance. What do you wish you had known then?
Day 2
What small gesture, sound, or habit is uniquely theirs? It is still here—held within you, gently continuing in present time. They are still doing it now, within the Inner Horizon where love remains alive, unchanged, and near.
Day 3
Finish this letter to them: ‘There is something I never told you…’ Let it be unedited. Let it be true.
Day 4
Where in your home or routine do you feel their absence most? Sit there in writing. What does that space want to say?
Day 5
Name three gifts they gave you that no one else could have. Stay with each one long enough to feel it.
Day 6
What part of how they loved will you carry into the world? Write the promise simply, like a vow.
Day 7
Write to them as the being they are now — not gone, only changed in form. What do you want them to know?
A Letter to Them
A gentle prompt
Write a letter to a beloved soul whose physical presence has departed, but whose love remains woven into the fabric of your heart. Share the words, gratitude, and love that still live within your Inner Horizon.
Begin with their name. Tell them what you never got to say — the thank-yous, the apologies, the ordinary tendernesses. Speak as if they are listening, because love does not require an address. There is no right length, no right words. Let the pen move slowly. Let the tears come if they come. This letter is held privately under your name, for as long as you wish to keep it.
